10 Powerful Duas For Protection

10 Powerful Duas For Protection

To truly understand how much we owe Allah (SWT) is to know that the world and our lives will always be full of things we can’t plan for or understand. We must believe that Allah is the only one who knows and decides what is best for each of us, and we must follow what He has written for our lives.

But this doesn’t mean we let anything happen to us or our loved ones without saying anything. We should say duas to Allah (SWT) regularly to protect ourselves from harm that could come from many places, like Satan’s words, other people, or even ourselves, because we aren’t strong enough to fight the urge to sin. It was also common for prophets to say duas to protect themselves. It was the Prophet Muhammad’s (PBUH) way of showing that he relied on God alone for everything.

For Protection Against Sickness And Disease

Even though we should remember that everything that happens, every trial, and every difficulty we think we are going through in life is from Allah (SWT), we can still help protect ourselves from the harm of sicknesses and diseases we are afraid of getting. There is nothing shameful about praying to Allah for good health.

Oh Allah, I Seek Refuge In You From Leprosy, Insanity, Elephantiasis, And The Worst Of Disease.”

For Protection Against Getting Ill

Of course, everyone gets sick sometimes, but that’s just part of being human. Still, we should always pray to Allah (SWT) to be grateful for our health and to keep us safe from the harm and pain that can come from being sick. No matter what happens with our prayers and health, we must never forget that Allah (SWT) has already decided it.

Oh Allah, Lord of humanity, do away with my suffering. Heal (me) as You are the only Healer, and there is no cure except that of yours; it is that which leaves no ailment behind.”

Dua To Leave The House

There are ups and downs, hard times and happy times, comfort and fear. We must always show our trust and faith in Allah before we leave the house, whether for a quick walk down the street or a long journey into a new part of our lives. We must know that He will lead us where He sees fit.

“In the Name Of Allah, I Have Placed My Trust In Allah; There Is No Might And Power Except Allah.”

For Safety Against Fear And Anxiety

It’s normal for people to feel worried and scared, but we must never forget to turn to Allah for help and know that even when we feel weak, we will always believe in Allah’s choices and wonders. We feel more relaxed and at peace when we realize Allah controls everything.

“Oh Allah, Suffice [i.e. Protect] Me Against Them Whoever You Wish.”

For Protecting The Family From All Evil

Most of the time, we worry about our families more than anything else, and we often give up our safety and comfort to protect those we love. So, it is still essential that we remember that Allah is in charge of us all and not think that we are fully responsible for protecting our families. We should always be thankful and have faith that Allah is the only one who can protect our family and loved ones.

“I Seek Protection In The Perfect Words Of Allah From Every Evil That Has Been Created.”

Dua To Be Safe Against Calamities

We must never forget that Allah is the only one who plans and chooses what happens on earth, even though many wars, natural disasters, and scary events have changed the lives of people all over the world. You must pray to Allah for His love, protection, and kindness to believe He is excellent, and you must keep praying and loving Him.

“Oh Allah, protect me from my front, behind me, from my right and my left, and from above me, and I seek refuge in Your Magnificence from being taken unaware from beneath me.”

Dua To Protect Against Water Storm

It is possible to say the following dua when traveling in bad weather or during a natural disaster: Ask Allah (SWT) to protect us from the harmful effects of the weather. When the Prophet felt strong winds, he would say these words:

“O Allah, I ask you from the good with which it is sent and seek your protection from the evil with which it is sent”.

Because It Will Protect You From Allah’s Penalties

Mercy from Allah (SWT) is like a shield that protects both Muslims and non-Muslims, though to different degrees. Only Allah’s kindness is keeping us from being punished for our sins. The Prophet would say this prayer to ask Allah (SW) to keep him from being punished:

“O Allah, I seek refuge in Thee from the withdrawal of Thine blessing and the change of Thine protection (from me), from Thine’s sudden wrath, and every displeasure of Thine.”

His Anger And Protection Against Removing His Blessings

There has never been a man who feared God more than the Prophet. He believed in Allah’s infinite mercy but never thought he would be safe from it forever. This is the reason he would say this dua:

“O Allah, I seek refuge in You that Your blessings are lifted, and Your protection (of me) is changed, and in the suddenness of Your punishment, and from all Your anger.”

For Protection Against Using Your Own Body For Toxins

All of our mistakes come from different parts of our bodies. We see and hear haram with our eyes and ears. We talk about other people and use bad words with our mouths. People don’t let us eat or drink, but we do it anyway. The naps, the spiritual part of our body, tell us to do what we want no matter what. We need to be careful about how we use our bodies. But the Prophet knew this, which is why he would pray:

“O Allah, protect me from the evil of my sight and hearing, my tongue, my heart, and the evil of my desire.”
